Your Mac, your login
Each item becomes its own short-lived Claude Code session in tmux, with your files, your tools and your permission mode. capture ls shows them, capture attach jumps in.
Local transcription
whisper.cpp on your Mac. Nothing per minute, and the audio never goes to a model API.
Two-minute setup, one secret
brew install, capture setup, scan a QR code with the phone. The watch enrolls through the phone. Revoke any device with one command.

Captures are stored and forwarded. No model calls on the server, no transcripts in our hands, per-account isolation, a retention you set.

Who is this for?
Developers who already use Claude Code on a Mac and keep thinking of things when they are away from it. It is not an assistant for everyone with an iPhone.
Does Capture use my Claude subscription?
Yes, through the Claude Code login on your own Mac. Capture never sees or stores a Claude credential and never calls a model API for you.
Is a phone credential dangerous?
It starts a tools-enabled session on your Mac, so yes, it is treated that way: every device gets its own credential, any device can be revoked in one command, and an optional confirm-on-Mac mode waits for a click before each session starts.
What happens to the audio?
It is transcribed on your Mac by whisper.cpp. Originals are kept on the relay for a retention you set, then deleted. Delete-my-data is in the app.
Why is it a list and not a download?
A relay you cannot use yet is not a fair thing to hand out. Early access goes in small batches, December 2026, in the order people joined.
